Where the name begins
Dottiebobsuk is named after my two biggest inspirations: my first daughter Mabel Dorothy, who gave us 'Dottie', and my second born Lilybobs, who brought the 'bobs'. Growing up surrounded by crafts, starting a creative small business was always in my heart. When I suffered from postpartum hair loss after having Lilybobs, in 2024 I started sewing gentle, snag-free hair scrunchies to care for my hair. From that simple idea born in our family home, Dottiebobsuk came to life.

Finding the right fabrics is an adventure I cherish. I travel around to hunt down materials of the highest quality, sourcing our premium satins from the very same independent shop since the day I began. For our cotton ranges, makeup bags, and pouches, I choose designs that I adore and genuinely want to use myself. Nothing is ever made just for the sake of making; each accessory is cut and stitched thoughtfully.
